This little Hairy Woodpecker knocked himself out when flying into our sunroom window. He was semi-conscious when I picked him up, gave him some water and took him over to rest underneath a shaded tree. After about 30 minutes, he regained himself, and flew over to a nearby tree where I took this image of him hanging on the tree trunk, doing what woodpeckers always do. Nature can be kind at times.
